No accounts, no real passenger data. Your flights are simulated in your browser.
Saved on your device
Your custom groups, bag-share setting, boarding method, playback speed, seed and last result are saved in your browser’s localStorage, under btp:v1. The last result is a recipe for rebuilding the same simulation, not a recording. These saves survive a reload; they are not uploaded or synced between devices.
Use Clear saved data below the boarding lanes to remove this game’s save and reset the experiment. Clearing this site’s data in your browser also removes it. Reset to airline zones changes the groups, but does not erase the save. Further play can create a new save. If storage is blocked or full, the game stays usable in the current tab and shows a notice.
Server request and error logs
The app does not keep a routine access log of successful requests. Its server request logs record unexpected request failures, with the time, requested URL and a short error message. A requested URL can include a flight seed. The hosting network and Cloudflare also process requests to deliver and protect the site; those requests include your IP address, URL and browser request headers.
If a script fails, the game sends an error report to /api/client-error: a shortened error message and stack trace, and the page path without its query string. The server adds the time and browser family to its error log. The report does not deliberately include your groups, settings or result, although error text and stack traces can contain URLs. Expected local-save failures are not reported.
The app uses your IP address in memory to limit error reports; it does not write it to its logs. Logs are written to the hosting platform’s output, not to an experiment database. This app does not configure a fixed retention period for hosting or network logs.
Cloudflare Web Analytics and cookies
The published site may have Cloudflare Web Analytics enabled through Cloudflare. When enabled, its browser beacon reports visits and page-performance measurements to Cloudflare. It does not use cookies or localStorage for analytics and does not track individuals across sites. It does not receive your saved experiment from the game. The app bundle itself contains no analytics beacon; availability depends on the published site’s Cloudflare configuration.
The game sets no cookies. Its local save is separate from analytics. Read Cloudflare’s Web Analytics privacy information for details of that service.
